March Athlete of the Month
Alyssa Lutz walks in each day with an ear to ear smile however is laser focused on the task at hand and her goals. She has committed to form and technique over anything else and it has paid big dividends. Alyssa has also been a big supporter in the CrossFit community volunteering at events. She is also a big Everyday Warrior supporter as it holds a special place in her heart.
If you could have a magical power, what would it be?
So many options - either teleportation or the power to make any food (ex. maple bar) have high nutritional value.
Who is the person at CFW who most inspires you to push harder?
Jordan (my studly husband) inspired me to get back into CrossFit and continues to inspire me to keep up with - or try to beat - him every day. I love that we both work hard and enjoy it together!

Which super hero do you most identify with?
If you could eliminate one movement from CrossFit, which one would it be?
Handstand push ups are the worst.
What is your biggest accomplishment since starting CrossFit?
Every new accomplishment feels like the biggest one! The most recent is a 20# Snatch PR. I committed to getting the technique down before putting on the weight and after weeks of progressions and accessory work, it paid off in a big way!
What is some advice you'd give to someone new to CrossFit?
Stick with it! CrossFit will positively impact so many areas of your life. You’ll gain confidence, discipline, community, drive, energy for everyday life - you’ll continually push beyond your limits and surprise yourself!
